Sunset at the beach is probably one of my favourite times to take photos in Dubai.
Where we meet, and when
For my sunset shoots, we usually meet around one hour before sunset, often at a café directly at the beach. I personally love shooting around Kite Beach and the beaches further to the right, where there is a little more space and a really nice atmosphere.
You don't need to know how to pose
And please don't worry if you have never done a photoshoot before or have no idea how to pose. You really don't need to. I will guide you through the whole shoot and tell you what to do, but I also want everything to feel natural and not too staged.
We will walk around, talk, laugh, move, maybe run into the water a little and basically just have a good time. Some of my favourite photos happen in between the poses anyway.
What to wear
You also don't need a fancy outfit or lots of make up. We are at the beach, so I actually love keeping things simple. A loose dress in off white, beige or cream looks beautiful in the sunset light, but so does an oversized pair of jeans with a simple top or even a bikini.
Just wear something you feel comfortable and good in.
My goal is not to create photos that look overly posed or perfect. I want them to feel like you, relaxed, happy and real.
What happens afterwards
After the shoot, I will carefully select and edit my favourite images for you. The finished photos will be delivered digitally, ready for you to download and keep.
So you really don't have to prepare much.
Just come as you are, bring your favourite person if you want, and we'll make the most of that last hour of sunlight. 🤍
